The exterior of Hyundai Genesis is made in the classic style of premium sedans with smooth body lines, a large wheelbase and a short front overhang. II (2014–2016). The rear-wheel drive sedan was equipped with V6 gasoline engines with a volume of 3.8 liters and a capacity of 311 hp. and a 5.0-liter V8 (420 hp). Both units were aggregated with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Fuel consumption in the mixed cycle varied from 11 to 15 liters per 100 km.
III (since 2017, the model has been renamed G80). The sedan is available with rear or all-wheel drive. The line of power units includes 2.5-3.5-liter V6 gasoline turbo engines, a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8, and a 2.2-liter diesel engine (202 hp). All motors are combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Fuel consumption, depending on the modification, is 7–13 l/100 km.
