Was produced from 2004 to 2009 by the South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Company. The model is built on the NF platform and belongs to the class of medium-sized D-class sedans according to the European classification. The 2008 Hyundai Sonata is a restyling version of the fifth generation, which received an updated exterior and interior design, as well as some technical improvements.
