Chevrolet Camaro is a sports coupe of the General Motors Corporation. It was produced from 1966 to 2002 and from 2009 until now. Today, the sixth generation of the model is produced, which in all generations is a two-door three-volume passenger car with a drive on the rear axle. Camaro is a vivid representative of American car culture. The car was filmed in many feature films, in particular even in the main role - Bumblebee in the franchise "Transformers".
Chevrolet Camaro belongs to the so-called class of pony cars - cars with a sporty or similar body design. In the basic configuration, they are equipped with relatively small engines, but they have powerful engines in advanced versions. The first representative of this type was Ford's Mustang. Impressed by its sales volume, GM wanted to create a competitor to it, which became the Chevrolet Camaro. In addition, from 1967 to 2002, the company produced a very similar and in many respects unified model under another brand - Pontiac Firebird.
The name Camaro comes from the French "camarade" - "comrade". Although, according to the official version, the company was creating a car that can be compared to a friend, in fact, due to a crisis of ideas, the word was chosen at random in the dictionary. For a long time, General Motors managers did not reveal the details of its origin, putting forward joking ideas at press conferences such as "The Camaro is a wild animal that eats mustang horses", hinting at a competitive struggle.
The model is aimed at young people and people who lead an active lifestyle. A two-door coupe or convertible is the golden mean between family sedans and station wagons, on the one hand, and outright sports cars like the Corvette, on the other. The Chevrolet Camaro combines a comfortable four- or five-seater interior, easy handling with outstanding technical characteristics in top trim levels. For example, in the SS — Super Sport, the car is equipped with the most advanced engines of large volumes, 5.7 or 6.2 liters. And the power of the ZL1 exceeds 650 hp.
Camaro transmissions are mainly automatic, in the last years of production it is automatic transmission-10. Despite the fact that the model was created by the Americans primarily for the US market, in each generation, including the last one, there are mechanical versions. In addition, as an option in the Chevrolet Camaro, the price in various versions covers many useful systems: a differential of increased friction, a brake system of increased efficiency, additional devices that allow you to monitor the temperature and pressure of the lubricant in the engine and gearbox.
The model is popular in the secondary market, in particular, among connoisseurs in our country. Today, you can buy a Chevrolet Camaro through Boss Auto, a company that offers cars from American auctions.
Qualified managers of the company will pick up a used Chevrolet Camaro from available on the sites or find the necessary equipment at auctions in the USA. Many years of experience, connections and experience in logistics enable the company to easily carry out any operation of buying and selling a car, delivering it to Kyiv or another city of Ukraine. Specialists also undertake the design of the car.
