Opel Astra is a series of compact cars that have become bestsellers in many countries around the world. The history of this family began in 1991, when Astra replaced the Kadett model of the German concern.
Four generations of Opel Astra were in great demand among buyers due to attractive design, technological innovations and an affordable price.
The generation was produced from 1991 to 1998. It was presented for the first time at the Frankfurt exhibition under the name Opel Astra F. The letter F in the name of the model came as a continuation of the names of the model range of its predecessor - the Kadett car.
At the same time, the Opel Astra car was developed from scratch: it received a special exterior and interior design. The developers of this model paid a lot of attention to the safety of operation. The deformation zones were carefully designed, the reliability of the body was worked out, and airbags were installed.
Buyers can choose from several body types:
The model was distinguished by a large selection of installed engines. The line of power units included 6–8 options, depending on the supply market, and about 20 of their modifications.
Opel Astra G was released in 1998. There were about twenty variants of combinations of different types of engines and transmissions. The gasoline 2-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 190 hp was considered one of the best among them. Together with the sports version of the "mechanics", it provided acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds.
The Astra modification with the H index was produced from 2004 to 2014. The automaker has thought out many body options, as was the case with the first generation. In 2004, a five-door hatchback was introduced, later three-door versions of a hatchback and a cargo station wagon appeared, as well as a sedan, a station wagon and a coupe-cabriolet.
There were also many engines to choose from — more than ten options, gasoline and diesel, with power from 95 to 240 hp. They were aggregated with "mechanics", "automatic" and even "robot" Easytronic.
In terms of technical characteristics, this car was significantly ahead of the representatives of its class. In the basic configuration, bi-xenon adaptive headlights, electronically controlled shock absorbers and a system for switching driving modes were available.
You can buy Opel Astra of the fourth generation since 2009. The model was presented to the public in Frankfurt. The wheelbase has become longer by 7 cm. Buyers are offered a choice of four body options: a sedan, a station wagon, as well as a three- and five-door hatchback.
Astra means "star" in Latin, and this name is the best fit for a series of cars from the famous brand.
Boss Auto is a brokerage company that buys cars at American auctions. The price of Opel Astra is usually 20-30% lower than similar models on the Ukrainian market.
Buyers can choose from cars that have already been delivered to Ukraine, or agree to purchase the selected model at an auction. The managers will provide complete and reliable information about the mileage of the car in km, the condition of the interior and internal systems of the car. The check is carried out according to the Carfax report on the history of the vehicle. Second-hand Opel Astra is available in different price categories, depending on the year of production, period of operation and technical condition.
After concluding the agreement, the car will be delivered to Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv or another city of Ukraine at the client's request.
