Opel Combo is a low-tonnage car produced by the German concern since 1986. The model line includes cargo and passenger versions.
The first Combo, based on the Opel Kadett, was released in January 1986. In each country it was sold under its own brand. In particular, it was known as Opel only in Portugal. The model was equipped with a gasoline engine with a working volume of 1.3 liters or a diesel engine with a capacity of 1.6 liters.
The second generation of the machine was presented in 1993. It was built on the Opel Corsa B platform. Its feature is symmetrical double rear doors. Two years later, the five-seater Opel Combo Tour appeared, which differed from the basic version by the presence of a three-seater folding seat and side glazing. The line of engines of this model includes gasoline and diesel versions with a volume of 1.4 to 1.7 liters with a capacity of 72–105 hp.
In 2001, it became possible to buy an Opel Combo of the C series based on the Opel Corsa C. In this version, rear sliding side doors appeared, and the Tour version received rear doors that open upwards. The line of power units includes options with volumes from 1.3 to 1.7 liters. All engines were aggregated with a 5-speed manual gearbox. For variants with a 1.3 CDTI engine, an Easytronic gearbox without a clutch pedal with the possibility of automatic and manual switching could be installed as an option.
The standard configuration of the car is equipped with electric power steering, an airbag and an ABS system. The rear seat in the passenger version folds in parts, forming a flat floor. This makes it possible to significantly increase the space of the luggage compartment. There is a place on the roof for convenient attachment of railings or an additional trunk.
The interior of the passenger version of the Opel Combo D can accommodate up to seven people. The cargo van is capable of transporting up to 1 ton of luggage. The volume of cargo space is from 3.8 to 4.6 m3.
Vans of the fourth generation were produced in two wheelbase sizes and roof height options. In versions with an all-metal body, a full-size partition was installed.
Even the cheapest version of the used Opel Combo includes:
More advanced equipment in the Sportive modification. It is equipped with an air conditioning system, left-hand sliding doors, an armrest, and the driver's seat can be adjusted in height. An electronic stability control system is available as an option.
